Celia Imrie has spoken out following her unexpected departure from Celebrity Traitors.
The Calendar Girls star was murdered in plain sight by Alan Carr during Thursday's (October 30) penultimate episode of the hit BBC programme.
Traitor Alan was compelled to murder in plain sight during an extravagant dinner party hosted by Claudia Winkleman, and after assessing the remaining faithfuls – Kate Garraway, David Osuluga, Joe Marler, Nick Mohammad and Celia – he struck.
The presenter delivered a speech to his fellow contestants, reflecting on his experience in the castle, especially his bond with Stephen Fry.
He said: "Stephen, he's just got that brain, and it's just the quotes and everything he'd say. And, what did he say to me before he went to bed? Parting is such sweet sorrow, Celia.", reports Wales Online.

The fatal phrase determined the Thursday Murder Club actress's fate as she became the final player to be murdered.
Speaking about her departure, Celia said: "I didn't know I was being murdered at the time, did I? I thought Mr Carr was trying to kiss me! The Treach.
"Anyway, the next morning was really horrible, and I hope they missed me at breakfast. I was having such good fun. It was like being made to go home in the middle of a marvellous party."
Revealing what the experience taught her about herself, Celia added: "I hope I kept my promise to my son when he said 'Mum, just be yourself!' and my best friend said: 'For God's sake, just be yourself'.

"I don't know how to be myself, because I am usually somebody else, and it's a rather bizarrely unnerving part to play, and I've been quite nervous.
"In interviews on television, and generally, you're promoting something so you can sort of put your conversation into either a new book or a new programme, or a new film, but to be completely bare, as I call it, is a new a new way of being for me and I hope that I have been."
At the end of the episode, Good Morning Britain's Kate was sent packing, meaning Traitors Alan and Cat Burns will join Faithfuls David, Nick and Joe in next week's grand finale.
The Celebrity Traitors Final airs Thursday, November 6 at 9pm
